The torso it is a good torso. What you need to pay attention it is about the stats of the torso perse.

The weight it is 346. Not super but not bad. Will say it is balanced.

The HP it is good

The energy 282 make it very decent

The heat 207 it is decent but not that super but good enough to use as heat mech managing properly modules.

The 96 REGEN it is decent

The cooling 64 it is not that super but good enough to manage modules and be use as heat mech.

The shields are very decent

Depending on what type of heat mech can be decent to attack and recover.

This will be without modules with an account maxed. As you can see, With L50 torso, that is how will look.

I do not know your configuration. Let's try just basic one adding mid-tier module and 1 tier resistance. Your energy and heat will be balanced in this way. The cooling and regen won't be the best because no premium parts but this give a direction telling you that regen/colling are 300 which it is the basic to have to barely survive with the weapons in use. It will be decent but will have to learn how to manage. Energy mechs will kill you. Heat mechs can overheat you depending on their mechs and phys mechs will destroy you not having enough resistance but will rank up you. Very decent mech for sure. So, no issues if can be max or not. The answer it is YES, you can max.

If you use the famous MPV this is how will look. Keeping the same set up, the heat capability will increase, and energy will decrease. At lower ranks and mid ranks, the use of energy mechs it is heavier than top. You might have to take loses using MPV against energy mechs. If what to go more balanced just exchange a module.

Now, doing the exchange will be balanced as the first one but normally will have more heat mechs around so it is better to have a bit of more heat coverage.

Let see then using your WINDIGO in reserve image.png.785be21a556064ba853c3faaa28e397c.png going back to the original set. As you can see, the resistances are a lot less and energy will be less than decent but operational. Heat will be decent with good cooling 362 and almost 700 in heat cap making the part good for heat, regular for energy and decent for phys but not the best resistance.

Let see the NAGA image.png.b877c8ef97712eafcb0c00b7b244eddf.pngthat you have in reserve with the same set up. In this case, the mech will be balanced on energy and heat with proper regeneration and cooling as base. The energy and heat caps will be decent.

If you observe, the resistance will have a small variation, because it is a energy mech, the resistance will be a bit less in energy but increased in heat and have a tiny less in phys resistance if compare with WINDIGO.

Changing to Nightmare basic part to get in RARE or common and compare with WINDIGO, it will be less but close enough and weight less having more weight to use different weapon and enhance attack or different protection set.

Those are illustrations not full set up with drones etc. It is just a base so you can see the differences. Hope this help you out a bit. So yes, us LPV as choice between them unless have some other combinations to make.

Have fun

NOTE: Do not forget that my account it is a L250 and numbers are higher than yours but the basic it is how can look.

Man, thank you so much. I've already make my torso myth. You're have explained everything very well. Thanks. And to the others too. :3
