+ Most of the time I'm low on coins. I have lvl20 powerkits (about 4), yes. So I guess one of the problems is coins in this case.

I agree about the modules but it also seems like you don't need both top weapons. Try playing a few rounds only using one or the other to see what works best for you.

The weight saving will allow you to use better combined modules once they drop and having one less weapon to upgrade should help your coin situation too.

I got rid of the Frantic Lightning, though I'll save it for my 2nd mech for when the time arrives. What about the coin situation? I don't really know a good/the best place to grind coins.

Will try to get epic drones from 3rd level of The Dry Lands inside a MIX box. Although it isn't necessarily the best way it's an alternative to spending about 40k for a chance to get an epic on lvl 10 card factory.

The best fuel to coin ratio mission is 1v1 OD6, not only that but it also gives good xp. It also only has 3 enemies, so you can do it fastly. I remember that a 3v3 mission is good for coin grinding too, but your mech isn't ready for it.

You already have two mythical weapons that are good at this level...but since they are mythical they demand more energy consumption...I mean literally it costs you 100+ energy if your drone is up and you manage to fire hysteria and ultrabright at the same time...and against opponents that have 350+ energy...this doesn't work that well especially if its an energy drainer....so I would suggest to upgrade your modules...and upgrade Naga to mythical then keep upgrading it slowly...(no need to use up all resources there, just a constant levelling up will do as you need to upgrade other items as well)...with that you will take care of your energy and regen...

And do upgrade viking hammer...its a brilliant weapon as it also damages opponent's regen.

I also happen to have an energy build mech as my main mech and I'm currenly level 16-17 🙂

This is it basically. Rank 16 is the smurf line. I realized I had to grow a lot before passing to rank 15, and to build a decent second bot also, or u are gonna devolve instantly from 15 to 16. Calm down, farm and build yourself for long or not so long days. I only got rank 15 when I had 5 mythical items and a second nice bot. But later I realized I had a fast progression to rank 13 because smurfs forced me to be far stronger than normal.

On farming, Overlord Den's 6th mission is definitively the best.

About your build, upgrade your torso to mythical. Upgraded torso is always the most important

yeah that why, u just need to see a way how defeat the smurfs mechs, (see  would thoses weapons use, along side a way to see a counter, or just only improve better your mech,) (try atleast get some phys defense and health to tank frantic smurfs, or high  energy capacity or no energy weapons to kill the corrupts light/hotflash/hybrid energy users to avoid  discharges, just need to see wich smurf are u gonna to fight, and somewhats kinda, depends on rng, por overall, some smurfs are controlled by IA, or macros so  after 3-4 turns are gonna be so glitchy so just u need to resist. ya

Well I had played a few games in arena recently at level 16-17...(about 50)...and I have realized that SM is pairing your fights with opponents not just based on ranks: they are probably (its my guess) also taking into criteria your mech's hp and, maybe, the no. of mythical items you have....because when I took my second Mech which had 926 hp only...surprisingly I was almost always being paired with mechs having hp very close to a 1000...(main mech has 1300+ hp and has to face 1500 to 2300 hp mechs 😐 )...and half of those mechs were easy enough to beat because my Mech was a physical Mech with two legendary nightfalls... 🙂

AND I also saw MANY, MANY BUILDS that just had two mythical maxed out frantic brutes and a mythical maxed out rock recoiler...WITH HP LESS THAN 1000 AND ENERGY AND HEAT ABOVE 400!! They literally used a common torso and a common roller....They were just so annoying to play against..and it seems that even they know this fact of SM pairing fights based on multiple factors (atleast at levels 16,17,18)...and taking full advantage of it.... 😑

Another problem is that you don't know beforehand who is going to be your next opponent (not talking about clan wars)...so making a build specifically to counter a particular build doesn't work because in the next fight you face the complete opposite of what you had prepared for.

So maybe using the trick (that 3 weapon combination) might break the curse of level 16 (even I am thinking of doing something like this whenever I get the spare time to play).

It is not rank but HP. I have been testing for over 4 years. Now, you need to take in consideration about the number of players in the particular moment. 

Sure, it does also compensate against modules levels. My test has been going on different directions.
