This is more of a headcanon for me to make the game more interesting, while I also figured that maybe other people would have a similar type of headcanon

This isn't necessarily a problem as it is more of a game discussion, but I couldn't figure out whether or not to put it in questions or discussions, so it'll just go here for now. Look at this guy Most of the AI Enemy names are pretty random and spread out, ranging from Bio-NV, to Gizmo GT to just "Engine". Does anybody actually have an idea what the names could mean? I know the game itself probably doesn't have this type of depth in terms of service tags, model numbers and actual meaning behind the acronyms but it's always a cool lore detail that wouldn't hurt SM to implement. A-R-D Could maybe stand for "Anti-Robot Devastator", maybe could be an insignia for front-line Mechs that are specifically meant to lay down overwhelming force to enemy lines Stuff like Bio-NV could stand for "Nightmare Vestigials". Maybe mechs that specialize in "Surprise, Kill, Vanish" Operations, stealthy even. But I dont really know. Maybe im looking WAY too deep into it, however it would be nice to know what you all think about the names, and have you ever wondered what it means or have you already given your own self-explanation to it?

My build typically makes it to rank 13, the highest i've gone to is rank 12. But not for long before im kicked out and sent back to like rank 15 to smurfers. I think it's because I have a lot of mythicals on both of my builds so it automatically thinks I can handle mechs that should be in rank 5-1

I can't seem to pull that, I guess its naganna happen. Also those arent frantics, those are Wipeouts from legacy I believe. and thats grim reaper

I think we derailed away from the topic when you started talking about cursed sniper mech You should edit 4 frantics on a mech. Now thats a true nightmare

You're super chill, i like you already man. But yeah this game can have a lot of boring periods, it's one of those games you can drop but youll always come back to. I mean i've been playing since like 2012-2013 since release basically. I've seen how large and how much more developed this game has become over the years. I'm not sure when you started but hopefully you got to experience Legacy, every person in this community could tell you how great it was if you didnt. And good luck to you aswell, your mech looks like it'll get MUCH more powerful the more you upgrade it. Just try and find a better top weapon aside from reckless beam, doesn't have to be savagery it could be desolation, vandal rage ect.

thanks man! I've been working on my alt for a lot longer now than what i used to. it's made a good bit of progress since I came back to the forum. And most of the reason is because i've had a lot of advice from the community

Im not really doing these posts in a desperate attempt to gain fame or anything, so dont think im trying to milk this '(Blank) Tortures/Does something cool (Part 0)' I just have a lot of funny moments and instances where I think I look cool. This is Ampaz, he is the Second Mech on my alt. If you remember my first ever posts were about this guy when he was a little baby, back when he had Brutality instead of Atomus. And Atomus had Archimonde. He's pretty grown up now, able to hold his own in the arena, and as a reward for Ampaz, i've decided to give him a spotlight for his greatest moments whenever he gets to be a badass just like Atomus. It's the least I can do. Here's Ampaz bullying the same guy Atomus was boil torturing in my last post. His second mech wasn't really prepared for this as$ beating, it was volatile.

Good torso and weapons but you should really work towards improving your cooling. It would be a shame if...a boiler were to, yknow...pull up on yo block..cause uh, they know me for my ruthlessness towards people with low cooling, wink wink nudge nudge. But nah fr, work on getting some decent modules, platinum and iron platings are really useful later on, I made the mistake of not using any platings for my mechs and now look at me, only 1,300 hp for both of my mechs :,). Dont be like me. Welcome to the community btw!

and this is a good example of a mech that i'd just alt f4 on. My mech is really weak in comparison to most peoples here

i think you're perfectly fine lmaoo, from what ive seen from other users, im probably the more weaker pilots in the community, so you might just completely obliterate me simply because your weapons are so much more developed than mine sad

as the name implies, this situation is different. I mostly bully people with terrible cooling, but energy mechs have become a very serious problem for me to deal with in recent times, as opposed to bad cooling, many mechs i fight nowadays are loaded down with modules that I have trouble breaking through. Which is why i've made a couple installments to Atomus to make sure he can stay vigilant even during energy breaks, and even causing nightmares for underprepared energy mechs. Here's a good example.

I have two pretty strong mechs that can hold their own in battle, however i've actually came across a very serious problem, when running through face of extinction, a third mech is required, and not just slapping together a bunch of random items, i feel like I need a little more power on my third mech so he can atleast take out a few tanks or buggies. This is a concept ive constructed I don't have many phys related weaponry but with what I do have I feel like with enough upgrading and fusing, this can easily be a runner up for my second and first mech. The drone is selfish protector too..sheesh. If I ever get an annihilation or a nightfall, that sucker is going on this build no questions asked. However im gonna get my other two mechs perked up as much as i can before i waste any resources and money in this third mech, or should I go ahead and start upgrading this guy? That's really up to y'all lol. Even the smallest bits of advice help, thats why most of my posts are asking questions.

thats a pretty lucky pull. Atleast you're taking care of your other mechs and not just focusing on your first one. I can't grind 3000 tokens and im not finna pay over $50 for some tokens. I lose my patience after reaching 200 tokens lmao

Atomus doesn't work alone, a good little friend of Atomus just got an upgrade he's been needing for the longest time. And I have to say it's becoming a pretty intimidating mid ladder build for a second mech.

Atomus has risen in power a lot since a couple months back, and due to this he's constantly terrorizing mechs that get stronger every day along with him. One of the many highlights from his rampage through the ladder ranks is this unique situation here. This guy had actually killed me the first time we met, he was cocky too, it's no different here either. The only difference is that he forgot that I, too could kill him just as easily as he could kill me. it was just a battle of willpower which Atomus overcame.

theres really no skill in the game, it's more like a turn based game. I feel like the only skills a person can actually incorporate in ladder is distance manipulation and danger levels. Every weapon has its use.
