Its just there to do same range as frantic since it has inf range , and deals abit more dmg ,  not like tonto which have range

I would prefer using protector on a dual frantic build since u will have troubles at range 5 , without night eagle/distance shredder/mighty cannon to get in tonto range and fire it , do recoiler

-decent res drain (3 uses x 11 = 33 res)

-not as good when fighting high res without any res drainer 

- High Ene / heat required for new players 

 

 

 

Frantic brute --

Pros -

-Very high Avg damage even with res 

 - 3-6 range 

- Decent Res drain 

-Potentially have a higher damage output than spartan carnage when it crits 

-starts as epic 

 

cons -

-Rolllinggg low damage 

- 2 use 

- High Heat gen

 

 

Tonto-- 

Pros- 

-No BF 

-can pair up with short range items

- Highest heat stats as an ene torso

-good when u have good heat mods and bad ene mods

-falls of at high ranks due to lack of phys resis 

-nightmare is better at weight management
