im pretty sure it doesnt because i did it buy it once and it did not if it did i would basiclly be in rank 1-5

Also can you show us the mech you made before and after picture plzzz

since it also helps with modules and the other things make a mech that is better then the mech you have now and then buy the upgrade so your better mech will be better BUT MAKE SURE YOUR ON THE MECH SO IT CAN BE UPGRADED

Try changing up your mech to make it better then possibly buy
