Example ....dont you think that a jungle background that the eye wont go more than 2-3 metres would bring better vibes to the players ? instead of a Nevada dry and lifeless brown background that spread to 2 kilometres depth ?

Why ....you would be so dissatisfied if new backgrounds gets added ? I dont think sooo !!!
The opposite !!! ....Before buffs/nerfs...before clans fights ...before forum fights and more
I think this game will have much more fun by adding new backgrounds and music !
Nostalgia ? only routine , and psychological problems can bring this games music and repeatedly backgrounds for someone that have spend 10.000 hours the past 3 years like meHow much will cost new backgrounds ? zero money ....how much pleasure ? 100% more pleasure ! thats the pc games guys ....graphics and music

What I was assuming was to make a filter and get rid of counters from arena which ruins the 80% of the satisfaction.
What have to do this , with your suggestion ....I cant imagine . -
Do you mean that it will be complicated to put a filter on the arena ? It ill be a filter like the one on campaign ....which doesnt let you play with 1 mech on 2v2 for example ... With the basic programing knowledge is easy I guess .

Wrong totally ...physical weapons needa a buff ...actually for my opinion
All physicals must all have 20/30 energy and heat cost NOT more and of course non physical en free weapon. From the other hand all phys weapons should have a buff of lower damage especially ! and all to have resistance reduce !
And heats and energies to not have resistance reduce at all .OR to have one seperate resistance reduce weapon . Not all the weapons of those types to have resistance reduce .
Only like that we would be able to speak for 3 elements that each one have its own advantages .So
1) give to ALL the physical weapons 20-30 heat and energy cost / remove ALL the energy frees .
2) buff the lower damage of some physical weapons by 30 AT LEAST ....buff the max damage of some others by 30
3) give to ALL phys weapons resistance reduce .
4) remove from all the ehat / energy weapons resistance reduce and keep only one of each type ( the res reduce weapons only )
thats how the arena of this game will get rid of counters !
SECOND SOLUTION! and easier
Put a filter on arena that EVERY mech that equips evenb 1 weapon that costs energy should have at least 5x energy and / or heat modules
Problem solved . Fair and plain . -
Guys .....counters ruins the 80% of the pleasure on this game .
Of course ''energy free physicals'' ( because they are not even en free ) are counted as counters as well.
I dont know how Gato will solve this problem but they should asap
Personally I have all the equipment to run 2x ''en free physicals'' but I am not doing it
Because I dont enjoy quit on counters of my build and brag to win rounders .
So I lay low on APs
As I said this thing should be solved because it ruins the 80% of the pleasure on this game !
Previously there was the heat mechs advantage ...now its this ...
Finally the game should find a balance !
The reason we have such an unbalanced situation is that Physical energy free weapons multilpied .
So in order to keep the characteristics of different ellements this game
In order to be a more balanced and not a ''nightmare on arena '' game
The recent energy free physical weapons should be buffed with energy cost ,
And at the same time all the physical weapons to have a damage buff of 50 or something more minimum and maximum damage ! -

I think that it is the time for Supermechs to have new arena backgrounds , you know those background covers that doesnt moves . I think Its pretty easy to add more .
With more colours more themes etc . I dont think its very difficult to add 10-20 more backgrounds .
New music , there are many years now that I play the game muted . I think its pretty easy to add some music too. 5 /10 tracks that will play continiously or something . -

Reading all this thread from the first post till the recent I realise that the real problem is the phys metas .
And not the backfire ....because the backfire seems pretty fair to me in general.
I would suggest to find the solution somewhere else .
Lets not think of it the other way arround .
If the problem is the new phys metas and the counters on the arena , then I would try to fix something else instead .
Like a filter that would prevent the presence of counters on arena .
Risky and challenging , but I think the whole problem starts from there .
Because we cant receive every physical as a meta .
And we cant delete their advantage as well , which is the damage output .
Again the backfire values seems pretty fair for me and well balanced considering each element.
In general what I believe is that the old L+ weapons , those with no backfire , needs a buff but not all -
By my point of perspective ,
Indeed backfire might need some kind of fixing .
But definitely the sudjestion above isnt correct on the way of thinking / calculating .
We cant receive a 3.500-4.200 hps physical mech as the average rounder phys like was mentioned above.
A rounder phy/heat/en is arround 2.700-3.000 hps .
On the side , backfire values differs from type to type , and phys have the most .
Note : physicals danages arent ~400 plus , but ~300 plus
Also , lets not try to take away phys mechs advantage wich is the damage output.
I wish the future changes will be really fair for all the elements , and to not get on the trap to favour one type .
So far the backfire values looks fair to me in general , perhaps might need an udjustment on specific weapons like scopes for example .
