No, there's no confirmed update as of now.

Beta Programme/Beta is a feature of Google which allows you to get the updates earlier than others and send feedbacks to the developers to improve. Certain data will also be sent to the developers, you can also leave the beta at anytime. Basically a pre-plan.

However, this is not a sign of an update or a patch.
