can i get more then 1 chest for each level difficulty or is there a limit

so theres a chance to get a box again after i complete the level for the first time
do higher level difficultys have an effect on the box drop chance
lets say if i complete normal 10 times ill get 2
and if i complete hard will i get more boxes
also whats better to get the mix boxes or fortune boxes
