I know that some people used sparked runners in the past for energy builds with a specifc range. Right now the meta is massive feet so its better to use that if you are very competitive else u can use whatever u want. Personally I like sparked runnera but i dont have them right now. People forgot that the game is about building something you like and having fun.

The reality is that every mech combo does have advantage over another. 
Now. if I will pick one mech that it is superior in overall functionality for the majority of things to do in the game
it will be the Heat hugger. That does not mean can't lose. It is a mech that can lose even with R7 mechs. It is a mech that can be use in full for portals, raid, farming, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 pvp fights, war.  Others mechs can do some but limited for other stuff. 
For engines use premium combined items and phys. heat energy fortresses and plating. Torso MPV

I got very lucky for getting red rain from a fortune box a few hours ago. The stats are amazing already, and it even does cooling dmg. I replaced a frantic brute for it, and it became my favourite weapon.

even though i don't have red rain, its still my favourite build, it has high damage and high heat damage, (not like 200+ heat or that) just a good amount of heat and it can pair very well with heron mark and terrorblade.

Personally, mine is the Savagery. It is a powerful top heat weapon that does great heat damage, normal damage and reduces the heat-cap by 30 at Mythical. It's an Epic too and goes to Divine, making it a very good weapon.
