When the Base  was introduced I didn't go for it because I saw a lot of people saying it was bad. Browsing this forum I find a lot of people saying it gets worthwhile once you've developed it. But before I go for it I'd like to know what I'm getting into.

 

How does it work? How does it differ to not having a Base? How do you upgrade buildings etc?

When you have a base, the game will give you 1 gold mine, 1 item factory item and level 1 headquarters (HQ), but the price to pay is that you can no longer buy silver boxes.

 

Gold mine give you some gold per hour, when upgraded, it increses gold per hour and gold cap.

Item factory give you item to produce, when upgraded, it give more type of item to produce, the best here is common items (cost 1000 gold and 15 mins) and power kits (cost 6000 gold and 20 mins).

Note: i have 1% cost discount in this pictures below, you can upgrade cost discount, upgrade speed and produce speed at Arena shop.

In order to upgrade items factory and gold mine, you need to upgrade HQ first. The level cap for items factory and gold mine is the same with HQ level.

Well, a base works like this:

One headquarters, "the center of all of your operations"

Up to 4 factories. They can produce items/cards by spending gold.

Up to 4 gold mines. Passive income baby .

Here's a snippet of the factory items:

NOTE:The prices are discounted from the arena buffs and your price WILL be different from mine.

All of these are in order. For each level you progress, you unlock one more item you could craft.

As for the 7k power units, I used a glitch. wink wink

Didn't expect that tbh.

Also, silver boxes do price higher and higher the higher your rank is, so it would be much better to get a base instead.

Go to base, item factory, craft some power kits, turn on airplane mode, go crazy.

Though I'm not sure if it works with all phones or devices.

yes, while the app is still open, otherwise the game would just put you in an infinite loop of the loading screen.
