It is about constant progress. If you are free to play it does depend on a lot of grinding. I was top as free player. Many others are free and are top and still on top as free. They enhanced BASE and play enough pvp and farm daily and they get high AP on top 3 clans and top 4-10 and others.

LLYL, CANDELA, TF as example does have free to play or had free to play and those still have R1 every season or some of the seasons in or out of the clan. It is about farming, pvp, base and of course luck in some weapons. Some tops even are p2w can't get the right parts and are having hard time to play even can get R1 but hard. Not all is Rose color to p2w or awful for f2p.

Tried doing that, it makes no difference. I'd rather have that extra health and phys res.

Happens to everyone. It's a bug I have an a SS of me having it too it only replaced you at the top, doesn't even add players. I tried with Zeppelin and Kendall and Kendall didn't see Zeppelin and zep didn't see kendall

Heat bomb is weak, heat huggers are the main issue. Can't really do anything about them with no close range drain weapons though.

Insane took me 4 revives: 1 for the buggies and tanks, 1 for each enemy mech (not counting the boss, it was way easier). The jump in difficulty from hard is insane.

even if your mech specialized on pushing mechs, huggers are still pain in the ass due to charge, hook, and double teleporter. this 3 specials gives huggers a high advantage against anything except for some physical and energy builds.

Oh yeah, with max phys resist the enemies went from dealing 1 damage on hard to 450 per hit on insane.

Only one alternate acct, that I forget to go on to rack up tokens. I only go on my main, just to check for portals or special missions.  This alternate I rarely go on.  I barely made today's portal.  I also forget to go on it to collect Gold in the base, every three days.
