  1. We don't need more energy free weapons, especially energy weapons. And your reasoning of buffing these items just to have the same stats as their counterparts are flawed.
  2. Since you're bringing this up again, let's use math to calculate the drain. EMP is around 400 drain, 410 if divined. If using malice, that's another 170 drain which now has more drain than hysteria, hot flash is also around 170 drain. Snack is about 60 drain while faceshocker is around 95 drain. Together in best case scenario without valiant or premium drones, it's around 675 drain, which is kinda far from 750. And there's a very easy energy free build to make that's non premium, dual desos. Just literally slap on 2 desos, a repulser, and either a recoiler or basalt dissolver and you would still have a decent dual deso. And now that windigo has been buffed, it's the best non premium torso so you don't really need a premium torso. Plus now that everyone is either running high regen builds (at least over 300+) or even higher stats due to dual mods, energy free phys or meta swoop heat hugger now, really no point to talk about emp anymore.
  3. Only reason why superb charge has so much dmg is that the old devs wanted it to. That doesn't mean that all the other utilities needs the same dmg as it. That'll be unbelievably broken. The solution is to nerf superb charge, not buff other specials which don't need a buff.

  5. Thanks for the advice, but I already kind of finished building my dual deso with a better version of A. B is really weak against huggers and the backfire is also another problem, but is kind of compensated by the damage. I don't shadow wolf anyway.

  7. No, but it's a good general idea of what to do, so it should be there, but not specifically under trivia.
  8. Base You should include that it will take months to max base out. And even with power kits it is still slower than using silverboxes to upgrade. It is recommended that you don't enable base or disable it until you have 3 maxed mechs at least. Don't You should change it to try not to use more than 4 side weapons, because there are some good builds with 4 side weapons. But if you have 4 side weapons, you shouldn't have any top weapon with the exceptions that is in there. It is also fine to be a little overweight, so long as you have a good build or have enough health to afford it. Energy Mechs I would remove the first point, since it's not true at all. Remove hungering beam from the 2nd point since it's useless because it can't go higher than epic. Heat Mechs You should say that there are two main types of heat mechs, damage and boiler. Only boiler mechs try to shut the opponent down. Physical Mechs You should always try to have all special items in a physical mech. Don't use armor destroyer because it only goes up to epic. And instead of trying to have a melee weapon, you should have a close range weapon. You should never upgrade or use items that don't go to divine if you have better items. The only exception is when making legendary food for transforming into mythical.
  9. Why would you use swoop over firefly or any other heat damage drones though? Swoop is only really meant for boilers and huggers, putting it on damage mechs is kind of pointless because of its low damage, even though you would overheat opponents a lot faster, but you have to sacrifice more weight to put energy modules on.
  10. No, I won't use brute because I still don't like them and their rng, and I already have 2 spartans maxed. And you encountering brute players depends on your rank of course. As well as not all players realize how good brute is now.
  11. You don't often get 800+ damage all the time, but now 500+ damage shots are more constant because of the more stable range, so yes, 800+ damage with a low roll is preferable to 2 mid-high rolls of 500+.
  12. Lot of heat and energy used sure. And it's arguably better than spartan just because of the much higher burst damage.
  13. This wasn't really a nerf at all, I would say that the rework actually made it better instead.
  14. Because the cost nerf isn't that bad, if you play smart and have good cooling it doesn't change much. Energy cost is now about the same as other phys weapons, meanwhile frantic became more stable, which means while you won't get 700+ shots anymore, it has a higher chance of doing stable 400+ shots because its average damage is higher than spartan's, which means it has better burst damage potential, hence why so many players still use it.
  15. Magma doesn't need a buff, it has been nerfed several times and still remains one of the meta weapons. This just shows how good it is. And that's a huge buff, not a little one.
  16. Maybe not, it's too random for my taste, and I rather have the extra fuel and tokens because at least those are guaranteed rewards unlike this wheel.
  17. Easiest way to bring balance back is to basically nerf new mods. But gato doesn't like nerfing items, so here we are.
  18. Anyone can record things, and it's all for fun. Most of course aren't going be good players. If they enjoy the game and wants to make vids in it, why not? It'll be boring to just have top rankers record as well. Variety is important. And either way, if you don't want to be recorded, just ask not to be. In the worst case scenario, you just get some publicity, there's nothing really bad about it.
  19. Yeah, I see. If such a massive buff happens to windforge though, all the other energy drones might become obsolete because of such a massive drain and low cost, but that's what I think. Although I do support a buff for it. Idk, they could buff it first to 130 drain right now, and then buff it to 170 drain in the future if it isn't enough.
  20. Yes, but what about energy dependent builds? I mean non premium mods fully energy dependent builds. They're going to get wrecked.
  21. Of course you're playing with non meta configurations. Windforge sucks in the current meta, and I don't need to go to WU and prove it since no one really uses it in top ranks. Also, if you fully understand what I said then you know why it sucks.
  22. Assuming the drain is added to the item without arena buff, that'll make it 142 drain fully divined, which is 170 drain with arena buffs, that's too big of a buff imo. You could make it like 130 drain with arena buffs which is a lot more balanced which means only adding 28 drain, which is 109 drain w/o arena buffs. That's still a lot of drain. As for the damage increase, yeah, I agree that it does too little damage in today's meta. What? Windforge only does 5 res drain, and it's obsolete currently because even its low cost compared to drain (which is the same as other ranged and backfire drones) doesn't make up for its lack of damage.

  25. You can move this to suggestions though. Only balance changes is really for items. But yes, I agree as well. It's a good idea.
