  1. Yeah, thanks. I don't have phys res or other plat plates, so this is the best I can do.
  2. You're JamAnime12! Nice to see you in the new forum.
  3. While I do agree that rng is a big part of the game, too much rng is also bad. This game should be about skill, not luck.
  4. Yes, but it's useless in most cases. And I want a build that's good against energy mechs as well, or I might as well play a counter.
  5. I don't have another plat or the phys res module. Also, cockpit is kind of useless on a energy free physical build.
  6. Scopes aren't even a problem anymore in the current meta because energy free physical mechs have enough health to tank them. And the nerf should apply only to the superb charge, damaged armor annihilator, rock polisher and the new dual modules.
  7. This is exactly why a nerf is so much easier and simpler to implement. Just nerf some physical items and the new dual modules. That's it.
  8. Bruh, you're ok playing with slot machine? But yes, res drain is practically irrelevant when you can roll 700.
  9. Only upc and the energy saw is really used. Scrapped energy blaster is crap. And the energy backfire drones are obviously used, but they have little impact on the meta. So a buff to energy backfire items won't affect much. Where as heat will get a lot more benefit from the backfire buff if it was implemented.
  10. You actually think the new dual modules don't need a nerf? Or even the physical saw, it's light as hell and does great damage, or the superb charge, which just completely outclasses the regular charge?
  11. Maybe heat or energy backfire items don't need a buff, but some physical items needs a nerf, as with the new dual modules.
  12. If you just buff items, soon everything will get powercreeped and buffed, which defeats the purpose. The problem with the meta isn't that energy and heat is too weak, physical is just too strong. Mainly because of dual modules, energy free saws, superb charge engine, and the backfire physical res drainer. Physical was still good before all of that. There were a lot more diversity in the meta before all of those items were introduced.
  13. I recently got distance shredder, so I was thinking of making a energy free physical build. I don't have rock polisher, or damaged armor annihilator. The modules on this build are the only modules available, except for the heat modules.
  14. We already have enough long range weapons, some that fulfill that role better. Making it a f2p two uses spartan is good enough, no need to change it into something else.
  15. This thing drains more than EMP, while having the same cost, better range, and lighter by 10 kg, at the cost of having backfire.
  16. You just turned it into a completely different weapon, why? And the range is weird as hell. Damage is a worse nightfall.
  17. I agree, valiant was always supposed to be a low damage high drain weapon. If you're going to buff the weapon, buff it in all aspects, even if it's a small buff. Otherwise, I think valiant sniper is fine as it is. Even if the suggested change gives it higher damage, that lowered drain can make a huge difference in battle, so I don't support the change as well.
  18. You would still be able to do more than 650+ damage with arena buff at max, I think that this still too much damage and the range is still very large. I think it would be better to add 200 damage to its minimum damage, and reduce 200 damage from its max damage. That would still make it viable, turning it into a f2p spartan with 2 uses and a larger damage range, while still not being that random. I agree with the change energy and heat cost though. The main reason why frantic is so controversial is because of its damage range, not weight. Increasing the weight a bit doesn't change much, and I don't think is a viable solution. And trust me, frantic rolls high almost all the time, even if the rng was changed, it would still be controversial due to its damage range. This game is supposed to be a strategy game, not a slot machine. Also, testing isn't really needed when most people here have a lot of experience in the game.
  19. You might know me from the old forum. I'm a casual f2p player, I have played legacy (only since 2017 though). My in-game name is Rusty Cat, and I'm also the leader of a casual clan called Immortal Blades. I'm excited to be in the new forum, and I don't have anything else to say, so I'll be around, thanks for reading.
  20. That would just be more powercreep since most people don't have lots of spare arena coins. Plus, it'll be weird because heat and energy gets another bonus level where as physical doesn't. This might just keeps going until we have like 20 levels for arena shop. I don't think it's a good idea to do that.
  21. You can't deny that rock polisher and damaged armor annihilator plays a big part in making them op as well.
