  1. In 2 days, all Adobe Flash player will refuse to run Flash. I had seen it before -- I had flash installed, and enabled, yet it(the flash window) pops up a icon saying "get adobe flash player" and nothing else. I checked the html (local copy of website) and it had the flash frame. It just refuse to load its content. I hope my standalone flash player (.exe) works. And yes, TS' flash works too. But too bad I'm in china so it throws a "invalid region" and stops flash. ____________ As of your inability to enable flash, I thought the date (for Microsoft Edge and the like) is like Jan 1 2021 and it's way past that (for almost 2 weeks). Anyhow my flash is broken so it doesn't make a difference lmo
  2. Well, rule of thumb is that it's your own stuff -- if you fuse it then it's gone. If you don't fuse it you can ... well, equip it and admire its beauty in the workshop. Maybe show your friends in private matches. idk. You just don't get to recover the portion of the power you spent in boosting it.

The reason nightmare (and sith) and perhaps intercepter is "good" is because they have good heat/energy stats (per weight) Using those torsos will likely force you to use those new heavyweight modules (e.g. overload preventer, dual storage module, fortress) to take advantage of the low weight of these jet torsos Afterall, there exist a 3K health Sith build(without buffs), and for what I can tell you it looked very promising. Maybe not the top 10, but maybe not rank 7 either. _________________ Keep it, because there's nothing more flashy than screens of yellow stuff. Doesn't matter if it's a lvl 1 collecting dust or a lvl 40 actively used.

  7. We aren't the only two desperate about it The reason for this is to have cash carrots. Ignoring the need to get cash, I think we still need to differentiate primary weapons (e.g. spartan carnage line, sword line) from those secondary weapons (e.g. explosive retreat) so we will have C-Ds, R-Ds, and E-Ds. Game balance wise, that's the best -- everyone can get what they wanted. The downside, of course, is that the staff won't get any cash flowing into their pocket. And they need it to happen, because they need to run the server and they need to feed themselves.
  8. Maybe you can get fragments of blueprints (of L-D) in boxes. Maybe let's change it so 50% of fortune box for base players (or all players) will be blueprint boxes that exclusively drop blueprints. You can't get duplicate blueprints, either. It shall always be a new one. If you got all blueprints then you shall get 1K gold per piece. When you have enough fragments of blueprints (of an item; 6 to 12 fragments per item), you can now "assemble" the blueprint and "research" the L-D item. The L-D item will then be able to be made in the "fusion center". Certain L-Ms (e.g. mighty cannon) that have no C-E counterpart can have different recipe; 2x night eagle + 2x rapid destruction, for example. They can also share the cost of, say, spartan carnage (of 4x rapid destruction) L-M items that are obtained will need to have one dismantled (destroyed) to prepare the blueprint for them researched. Dismantling shall take time. Cost of reproduction can be negotiated but 25M gold sounds a bit too much. Maybe 10x the cost of a "chance of legendary" sounds decent. Or 4x. That's more acceptable. ___________________ I'd be very willing to fuse 4x maxed epic redwall for a seraphblade(and the like), although I'm not quite there yet and 25M price tag sounds like insane. Bro, it's million. And 25 of them. You can get enough food to max 25 mythicals with 25 million I think. ___________________

I'd wish to NOT have my sweetie and have nightfall rather than have sweetie, even if the 3-6 range can be somewhat handy. I believe those two are the rarest epics of all epics. I had firefly, but it's useless for a boiler. I also can't source a electrolyte, even though I don't need one ______________________ I really don't need these fancy toys. I need humble weapons!

There's no way you can apply paint to a level 40 legendary (that is transformable) because you are taken to the transformation screen instead Maxed item that are ... well, maxed, will be able to applied paint because there won't be a transforming screen. ________ Fix: idk. Do not immediately go to transform screen. Rather, show the usual boost screen, then show a button that lead the user to transform screen.
  14. It's C-D. They are the only 6 items that, once acquired, can help serve you all the way up to rank 1. If you do them proper. The reason we don't have people talking about Mr. Nightmare until the combined mods is because they simple don't offer enough bang because they are light. Same thing with Mr. Interceptor and Mr. Sith. Because the existence of heavy mods (that pack more punch), it becomes viable again to use these lightweight torsos. But the heavy mods are premium, so f2p people (like me) won't be switching anytime soon. Impressive. Perhaps this is the motive behind introduction of heavyweight mods? (beside to end the tale for counters) I was going to use Avenger for my phys, but I rushed ahead and got Naga and Rusty Energy for my energy. I don't need a 4th myth. Holy this these stats look outrageously OP. At least, from what they once were.

Sad fact might be that grim is R-D and Naga is E-D, which justify the act of "pay to win"

  18. As shown recently elsewhere I had transformed Brutality to Mythical (re-used image) Unfortunately it also appears that there are issues related to the side weapon slots. The side weapon slots appear to have its position swapped, with the item in the top slot appearing higher than the item in the bottom slot. I have equipped brutality and Zarkares as torso. As you can see when the slots are flipped the weapons will appear in the right spot Putting the right weapon in the right spot will have them show up really weird: _________________________ Because of how weird it looks, I have swapped the top and bottom rows. Pictures below show the config in the first picture This does not present a huge issue, however because of the swapped slots some behavior will look weird (especially the swinging of melee weapons such as the sword and hammer) The flipped nature of the slots can be proven in workshop as mechs sometimes perform the "slashing" move. In those cases, they will perform the "slashing" attack with the upper left weapon, which, in this case, is a hot flash. Whereas my energy will swing the hammer (energy side weapon slot for reference) __________________________________ I know that people will come here, drop a note and say that "this problem is not a problem" or "it don't affect anyone", but it is a simple problem, and because it's a simple problem I know it's easy to fix (at least, I think it is easy to fix). So just put it on the list, and fix it at some point.
  19. Recently I had acquired a decent amount of tokes from a unknown source (last ?????? non-gold portal), I have decided to pay the shop a visit for ... maybe some painting kits. I don't like the marble paint. The camo paints are cool, but they are also prohibitively expensive. The paint I had tried out is the green, yellow, and the brown. The green is the shade of green you see in non-boss campaign, especially physic mechs. The yellow is identical to that of a level 21 - 25 item (weapon/torso/leg/drone) The brown is ... you can't find it elsewhere. It is similar to a level 16-20 item (weapon/torso/leg/drone), but more red. ________________________ Interestingly, there is no black paint (level 45 - 50 item), even though there is white paint. ________________________ What is the color of a divine item? Black (like level 45 - 50)? White? I think it's black. ________________________ I think the amount of color available to paint is too limited. I propose a new paint color, "Sturm". #4C4A49. It can have many translations: Storm grey, storm, grey, charcoal(albeit, a bit more dark) Because the default color is too bright. Mechs look like as if they are made of soldering tin. Or aluminum foil. Too dark, and you can't see the lines clearly. This kit can sell anywhere from the 5 tokens to 10 tokens, although 7 tokens might be preferred. ________________________ Or, being tired of adding endless kits, some type of paint where you can customize the color when you purchase it. Such a RGB kit can sell for as much as ... Well, I'll leave TS to decide. I hope it isn't over 20 tokens bc I'd like to have it applied... ________________________ Let's be honest: The cost of the other paint is straight-out ludicrous. I don't even think @CleverName will paint his mech in "urban camo paint" or "marine camo paint". I don't even think I had seen one anywhere, either. ________________________ Yes, paint might be a p2w item since it do not affect gameplay in anyway, but if it cost 1.5K token just to get a mech painted (and the items might be subjected to being swapped out), isn't this a bit outrageous?

If he is asking HOW the damage will come from (as in, explain using science), then we can assume that the energy weapons fires some type of energy beam that overloads the opponents' circuit (which therefore drains their power) When you don't have electricity (ground state), the energy from outside (high/energetic state) might do bad things to the powered-down circuit (e.g. reverse flow of power) which might break things. _________________________ If he is asking the mechanism in game, well, the drain (energy damage) will be added to the damage done (to the mech). Because the amount of energy damage for a given weapon is constant, it essentially elevates the total damage done by that amount. Example: I'll drag one of the useless campaign mechs here to demonstrate. (loud metallic grinding noises) Okay, here is "Stomp Master". He have 74 Eng and 7 EleRes. Now, if I fire this maxed legendary Malice Beam Malice Beam (55) 97-160 EleDmg 100EngDmg -12MaxEng 3-6 Range (30/10) At "Stomp Master", it will do (97-160) + (100-77) - 7 EleDmg, which is 123-186, ignoring arena buffs.
  21. I believe a better alternative can be made. _________________________ The game will record a "skill" level for each player. This can be public/or hidden. If you win, your "skill" will go up. If you lose, that "skill" will go down. Use a weaker mech to beat a stronger opponent (computed via mech scores) will increase more "skill" than using a stronger mech to beat a weaker opponent. If you lost and you are weaker, you decrease less. Depend on how "beat" your opponent is (e.g. amount of overheat / overheat, amount of damage caused / damage received), the game will adjust your score. This should adjust it so that if you barely beat them the two playre's score will mostly stay unchanged. However, this is essentially putting everyone in the pit and see who has the highest score. This is no different from the current arena. ___________________________ Which is why I'm going to introduce you to a "mech-based" matchmaking algorithm. ___________________________ The game look at all the items you equipped, and it calculate a score on how strong that mech is. (e.g. level 1 common get 1 point, level 1 epic get 100 point + 1 level per upgrade level. add all the points together for all the mechs) It will then attempt to find a opponent with similar score. This way, we should have mostly eliminated trolls. Counters, not so much. _________________________ This is bullshit. Bullcrap. Nonsense. (I'm sorry if it sound rude, but this is the single most false/impossible statement I can possibly find on the forum. It is, to me, wrong, in every sense.) The natural reason, and in fact, the only reason counters exist, is because there are some popular builds with possible weakspots. This make themselves unrounded. If you have a balanced mech lineup, I'm sure you can fend one off, since counters generally are more expensive (and not as money/bang effective) as other builds. Pit the opponents in by how their mech is and you can easily triumph over them: Opponent show up with heat-based phys counter: pit your heat against it. Opponent show up in eng-based phys counter: pit your eng against it. Opponent show up in eng-counter (no-eng, mass eng & no heat): pit your heat/phys against it. Opponent show up in eng-based heat-counter: pit your eng against it. Their regen will be low bc they need to absorb the heat. Opponent show up in phys-based heat counter: pit your phys against it. This might force people to make somewhat rounded (and more efficient) mechs that still have a focus, as the opponent they are facing will have similar gear (to what themselves have) ______________________ Very few counter can actually manage to fend off a decent mech from the class they are based upon -- unless they are trolls. But where are trolls? Aren't they pitted against themselves, or, very powerful figures that will whack them? ___________________________ In reality, the are people that inherently don't have rounded mech lineup. Double dual deso + heatbomb (perhaps also with a no-eng pew pew) no-eng builds can wreck havoc on everyone. But, what if you are not facing dual MYTH deso when you have legendary hysteria, and instead facing legendary dual deso? What if you are not facing divine malice beam when you didn't have even one mythed? Yes, a heatbomb can still shutdown your eng mech, but for how long? Can you out-damage his dual deso by draining him? Perhaps. Can you manage to fend off your own heat? Perhaps. Even if not, it's only ONE loss. ____________________________ Yes, counters are bad. But don't ban them -- because they can only exist for a reason. Find that reason. ____________________________ Aren't all campaign mechs counters?
  22. Well it sounded like Killin(or Raul) is not hosting the list himself and the data is actually imported from elsewhere How that data is stored, I have no idea. But it should be something close to a excel table, if not a csv (comma separated VVVVVV). Pictures included. Or, perhaps multiple (hopefully, since different items have different stat) arrays or "dictionaries". Which means all you needed to do is to format them nicely, perhaps done via a html file. Shouldn't be too hard, but who is going to host that? (short answer: IDK) They are busy. The reason I did not include divine is because everything that can go to myth can go to divine, and every divine item is nothing beside a somewhat beefed-up myth. Comparing a somewhat beefed-up myth to other somewhat beefed-up myth is not too different than comparing maxed myth to maxed myth. After all, divine stats are (mostly) simply scaled myth stats.

The ratio for (getting a 20 level rare from a level 1 common) is 7555+35822. Divide 50K by this number and we get 1.152, which is 15.2% increase in power. _______________ By contrast, if you use matching items (same type, same class) every time, you will get a flat bonus of 20%. So maybe if you have a lot of different types of items to boost, it might actually be a good idea to boost them individually, to take advantage of the 20% bonus. Rare kits and upward can (and should) be boosted to fuse with material. Their bonuses are higher.
  24. Once upon a time I tried setting up a virtual machine running Android x86. It runs, somewhat smoothly (considering its a hyper-v virtual machine), but yes, you have a average of 5 fps or lower. You can get 60 fps with little to no crash if you decided to go creative and dual-boot with android x86. However, how it works with your computer depend on how it decide to cooperate with your computer. (which means it varies from model to model) https://www.android-x86.org I should actually use one of my many laptops and install one of those. OR, I can just grab my HTC m8. ___________________________ I don't know why people will want to play it on web. Such a game with a long play time you usually want to get it physically (stored locally).
